FSU Grievance Update

Dear Member,

While the number of formal grievances that are currently active is relatively low (4 as of today), the FSU Grievance Committee (GC) was very active this academic year We would like to report on a few of the formal and informal pending grievance and contract related matters that we are addressing or have addressed (for reasons of confidentiality, we cannot report on all the pending grievance and contract related matters that we are dealing with).

FSU end of year party this Thursday, May 10, 5 pm – 10 pm

Please join us for FSU's End-of-Year Party, this Thursday, May 10th, at Savin Bar and Kitchen.  The FSU will be providing free and tasty appetizers, from 5pm on, to help members come together in fellowship, and to celebrate all the work of this past year.  Partners and allies welcome! (Savin Bar and Kitchen is located at 112 Savin Hill Avenue, Dorchester, directly across the street from the Savin Hill Red Line MBTA stop, and walkable from campus.)

FSU annual meeting this Wednesday at noon

The FSU Annual Meeting will be this Wednesday, May 2nd at noon in Wheatley, 2nd floor, Classroom 0198.  We will serve you pizza! 

This is an opportunity to update you on what is going on, receive your feedback, and talk about your areas of concern and what the FSU should be working on.  The items to be considered include the FSU budget, bargaining, and the Mount Ida acquisition.  Please attend and give us your thoughts.

Retirement session - NTT Contract Service Purchase (Buyback) Massachusetts State Retirement System
