Event Reminders: today MTA candidates forum, April 18th Retirement: Understanding Social Security and Government Pensions


Dear Member,

We write to remind you of two events happening this week.

MTA Officer Candidates Forum, Tuesday April 16th 12PM -1PM

Prior to the election at this year's MTA Annual Meeting, April 26-27, the PSU and the other UMass Boston and Amherst MTA Locals have invited the candidates for MTA President and Vice-President to meet with our members via zoom. 

All three candidates—Max Page, Deb McCarthy, and Yahaira Rodriguez—have confirmed that they will attend.

Spring 24 FSU Election Results


Dear FSU member,

Voting for the President, Librarian, Non-Tenure Track, Pre-Tenure, and Tenured Representative elections closed this morning at 9AM, and the election results are in.

FSU Elections - Voting Begins Monday, March 25th, 9:00AM EST


Dear FSU Member,

Voting for the FSU elections will begin at 9am Monday (3/25) and will conclude 9am Monday (4/1). This Monday morning you will receive an email with an individualized link to your ballot. You will use this link to cast your ballot for both President and your respective faculty or librarian rank, if applicable (NTT members: please note that Katie Almeida Spencer is no longer on the ballot).

FSU Elections, Candidate Forum March 20th

The FSU Elections Committee is hard at work.  On Friday, March 1st the committee sent an email with election details including the candidate slate, candidate forum and voting dates.
