Greetings from the FSU Core Bargaining Team. We are writing with an update on bargaining for the 2023-2026 successor contract.

Petition To Demand Higher Salary Increases- Join us at 12:45PM March 23rd


Dear Member, 

Please join the FSU along with the CSU, DCU and PSU members as we present Chancellor Suárez-Orozco a petition with over 800 UMB faculty and staff names who signed the petition demanding higher salary increases.  

Earlier this year we asked you to sign the petition to tell Governor Healey we demand salary raises that meet and exceed inflation.  Many of you did.   

When    Thursday, March 23 at 12:45PM 

Where: Outside the union office, Quinn second floor (head towards the library)

Greetings from the FSU Core Bargaining Team (CBT). We will start bargaining our 2023-2026 contract with the administration later this Spring and have some important updates to share with you.

Dear Members, 

Happy New Year and welcome to Spring semester.  Ironically, I write this with snow falling. 

This semester’s first issue of Nuts & Bolts is a preview of upcoming activities.  

Executive Committee Meetings 

Your union is governed by a thirteen-member executive committee comprised of a President, Vice President, four (4) tenured faculty, two (2) pre-tenured faculty, one (1) librarian and four (4) non-tenured track faculty.     

REMINDER: FSU Member Survey for Bargaining – tell us your priorities- Deadline extended to Monday, 12/19/22

Our union contract is up and we will begin negotiations in Spring 2023.  Your Core Bargaining Team need your help.  We care about and need to know what issues matter to you.  What would you like to see addressed in the contract?  What are your most important priorities?
