Dear FSU Member,
The FSU Annual Meeting is Thursday, April 17th from 3:00PM to 5:00PM. The meeting will be held virtually (contact FSU or Caroline Coscia for Zoom information).
This email contains meeting information including the agenda and proposed budget.
Why an Annual Meeting?
The Annual Meeting is held for the purpose of hearing committee reports, to be updated on FSU activities, to adopt an annual budget inclusive of establishing dues rates, to adopt bylaws, and to hear other business as needed (source: FSU policies). Organizations such as unions are required by law to hold an annual meeting.

Meeting Materials
FSU Budget Adoption
The proposed FSU FY26 budget is attached. In addition, we are including a budget note document which highlights some line items. The FSU Executive Committee voted to recommend this budget to the annual meeting for membership adoption.
Course Releases and Stipends
According to FSU policy (check under Financials), FSU members are to be informed of all course releases, Administration paid stipends, and FSU paid stipends granted to FSU officers and/or members. Please see the attached document for details.
