Dear Members,
As workers in public higher education, we have been facing a barrage of attacks; from our grants to our diversity, to our academic freedom, to our immigrant colleagues. These attacks all stem from one root: a singular offense against working people and the public goods that our democracy relies on.
Join us (FSU, PSU, CSU, GEO, MTA) for lunch and a state-wide teach-in (part of a National Day of Action across higher education) where we will come together to discuss how these attacks impact our campus, how we can collectively resist, and how we move forward together.
Where: University Dining Club, 2nd Floor Campus Center
When: 12:00-1:00
Who: Anyone interested in protecting higher education
RSVP HERE (note that there will be a place to register for those wanting to participate online)
We ask that you register for the food order.
Together we can fight back against attacks on our livelihoods, attacks on academic freedom and cuts to programs supporting our students.
Sincerely,
Caroline Coscia
