REMINDER: Speak out this Wednesday against proposed increases to health care costs

Dear Colleague,

We’d like to remind you that the Group Insurance Commission will hear from you this Wednesday, February 1 at 12:30 about:

•          Increasing your deductibles to $500 per individual/1000 per family—or higher.
•          Adding a deductible for most prescription plans of $100 per individual/$200 per family.
•          Freezing participation in many health care plans.
•          Increasing costs for Medicare retirees.

Please attend this meeting in Rabb Hall at the Boston Public Library (700 Boylston Street, Boston) to show that you care. 

Please send us testimony on how this will affect you to both knaeff@massteacher.org and to Marlene.Kim@umb.edu.  We will use it for the press and testimonials.
