President Meehan and Commissioner Santiago will join at least 13 state legislators and over 500 MTA higher ed members for a hearing today. Please join us!
The MTA is holding a “COVID Crisis on Campus” hearing to present testimony to legislators, Commissioner Santiago, and President Meehan on our three demands: (1) health and safety; (2) full employment (stop the layoffs, furloughs, non-reappointments, work overload and program cuts); (3) funding for public higher ed. This is an important chance for us to communicate with (and show our strength to) those who have power over funding for public higher education.
