Tenured Faculty Special Election Announcement

Dear FSU Member,
The FSU Executive Committee has a vacancy due to the resignation of a tenured faculty member.
The FSU Bylaws (Article III, Section 5) allows for a special election to fill a vacancy.
This email is to formally announce that a special election to fill the remainder of the term (March 2018 to May 2019) is taking place. The special election will take place simultaneously with the annual FSU elections.
Attached is a nomination form along with election schedule.
Nominations run from January 29th 9:00AM EST to February 9th at 5PM EST. Voting takes place March 2nd 9:00AM EST to March 9th 9AM EST. The winner will be announced on March 9th and take office immediately.
