Take Action For Higher Education – MTA, Thursday, November 19th, 7:30

Dear FSU Members,
The state budget proposal from the Senate Ways and Means Committee includes level-funding for public colleges and universities through June 30, 2021. Despite these promising developments, public higher education executives are continuing to make draconian cuts. What can you do? Two things:
- Write your state Senator NOW. Click here. It’s super easy.
- On Thursday, Nov. 19, MTA higher ed union members will be gathering at campuses across the state to “light up the night” and shine a light on higher education. Join union colleagues at 7:30 p.m. at Bunker Hill Community College (Main Entrance, 250 New Rutherford Avenue, Charlestown). If you can't attend in-person, the MTA will be broadcasting these actions on Facebook Live on Nov. 18 & 19. Tune in at facebook.com/massteacher
