Parking Bargaining – Update

2/18/2026

Dear Member,

How do you get to campus? Do you ever drive & park on campus?  Do you take the T?

Our UMB campus unions have been fighting for years to lower the parking rates and raise MBTA subsidies for all UMB community members– students, staff, faculty and librarians-- which most other Boston-based colleges and many public agencies have already done.

Nuts & Bolts: Sept 11th campus incident follow-up, Executive Committee vacancy, travel funds, seeking Health & Safety Committee representative, PSU staff layoffs, federal funding cuts involvement, Fall grade deadline change and MTA Benefits

FSU Calendar September 8th to 12th

Monday, September 8th FSU Executive Committee 3:30PM to 5:00PM

Executive Committee meetings are open to all members in good standing. The meetings tend to be a mix of routine, keep-the-trains-running, agenda items along with more substantive discussion about the larger issues facing faculty and librarians.  At today’s meeting we will be discussing FSU committees and offices, upcoming FSU events, a solidarity action for PSU layoffs, and more.
