The Faculty Staff Union (FSU) holds an election every Spring semester for positions on the FSU Executive Committee.  

The positions up for election or re-election in Spring 2026 include: 

President

Librarian (1 position)

Non-Tenure Track (2 positions)

Pre-Tenure (1 position)

Tenured (2 positions)

This is the last Nuts & Bolts of the semester. Although you will not receive another until January 26, the FSU works all year.  During winter break, the FSU is here to answer any questions or concerns you may have, albeit a few days off in the next couple of weeks.  If there is an urgent or important issue that arises, we will inform you.

REMINDER: Anti Racism Grant Applications Deadline- TODAY Dec 3, 4PM

Dear FSU Members,

The application deadline for proposals to support anti-racism initiatives is TODAY, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 4:00PM EST. This academic year’s funding pool is $50,000.  

Proposal Guidelines

We encourage faculty and librarians to think about anti-racism initiatives in broad and innovative ways. The goal of anti-racism is to actively challenge and change policies, behaviors, and beliefs that perpetuate racism.
