While Prof. Andrew Leong (as a community lawyer) has done countless know your rights training since 2017, this gathering will offer observations, information, and examples as to how we can and should individually/collectively resist at a time when we are falling into the abyss of authoritarianism.

Say NO to “resilience” and YES to "resistance” with Andrew Leong on Wednesday, November 12th at 12pm

UMB Philosophy professor and attorney Andrew Leong is following up his Spring 2025 'Know Your Rights' workshop. This workshop offers information, observations, and examples about how we can and should resist, individually and collectively, the rising threat of authoritarianism.

Our PSU colleagues are currently in their fourth semester of bargaining, and it looks like their negotiations will come to an impasse. UMB cannot function without our staff, and they need our support. Please join their rally today from 12:00-1:00pm on the quad outside of Quinn.
