REMINDER: Important Information on Non Tenure Track Faculty Contract Rights

Dear NTT Colleague,

In February we sent you the following important language in the FSU contract regarding non-tenure track faculty. This language covers everything from just cause rights, to promotional eligibility, to paid sick leave, and more. The same info from that email is below in the event you did not see it the first time:

Dear Colleague,

I hope you are having a great semester.  Here is an update: 

►FSU Budget input meeting: Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 2nd, 2 pm (Campus Center, first floor meeting room, 1313) for input on this budget.  (contact the FSU office to see the preliminary FY20 budget and a report from the Treasurer.) You can also email your thoughts to fsu@umb.edu.  A final version of the proposed FY20 budget will be sent to members in advance of the FSU Annual Meeting.

We know you are busy with the start of the semester but we want to be sure you are aware of important language in the FSU contract regarding non-tenure track faculty. This language covers everything from just cause rights, to promotional eligibility, to paid sick leave, and more.

NTT Promotion Application Deadline is Monday, January 28th

Dear Non Tenure Track Faculty Member,

For NTTs eligible to apply for promotion this academic year, the deadline to apply is the first day of the Spring 19 semester—Monday, January 28, 2019.
