Speak out to keep your health care costs from increasing on Wed Feb 1 at 12:30

The Group Insurance Commission will hear from you on Wednesday, February 1 at 12:30 about:

•          Increasing your deductibles to $500 per individual/1000 per family—or higher.
•          Adding a deductible for most prescription plans of $100 per individual/$200 per family.
•          Freezing participation in many health care plans.
•          Increasing costs for Medicare retirees.

Attend this meeting and speak against these changes to prevent this.  This meeting is schedule for the sixth floor of the Charles F. Hurley Building, 19 Staniford St., Boston, but at the urging of the commissioners who represent the unions on the GIC, a larger room is being sought.  We'll let you know when the location is finalized.
