Dear Colleagues,
The FSU is resuming contract bargaining with the Administration this week. We are fighting hard for a fair and equitable contract that will ensure better wages, working conditions, and protections for all our members. Join us to observe our bargaining sessions this spring as we advocate for these important issues.
Please register by 8:30am tomorrow (2/4) for this week's in-person bargaining session, which will be on Wednesday, February 5, from 9:45-11:30am in ISC room 2003 (contact the FSU office or the Core Bargaining Team for registration information). We expect to receive new proposals from Admin, as well as their response to our proposal regarding elimination of the Associate Lecturer category (so that all new NTT faculty would be hired as Lecturers and all current Associate Lecturers would be immediately converted to Lecturers).
See all of our contract proposals here. And keep an eye out for invitations to our future bargaining sessions, which are currently scheduled for every Wednesday, 9:45-11:30, starting February 12 and ending on Wednesday, March 12 (2/12, 2/19, 2/26, 3/5, 3/12; room info to be provided).
In solidarity,
The FSU Core Bargaining Team
