BUSINESS

1. Ground Rules, Introductions:
2. Agenda: Motion to approve agenda. Motion seconded. Motion approved unanimously.
3. FSU and JCC Budgets (contact FSU office for info): Move to approve FY21 proposed JCC budget. Motion seconded. Motion approved unanimously. Discussion of proposed FSU FY21 budget. Move to approve FY21 proposed FSU budget. Motion seconded. Motion approved unanimously.
4. Possible FSU bylaw change: Article VI, Section 9 (contact FSU office for info): Motion to approve. Motion seconded. Discussion of motion. Motion to amend proposed bylaw change: striking ‘fewer or’. Motion as amended seconded. Motion to approve proposed amendment to proposed bylaw change (35 in favor, 1 opposed). Motion to approve proposed bylaws change as amended. Motion seconded. Motion approved unanimously.
5. UMass Budget, remote learning, concerns from members: Discussion of about the budget, safety during COVID-19, remote learning, and contractual rights.  Suggestion to form an organizing committee and to discuss an organizing plan.  
6. Update on bargaining: Discussion of bargaining and moving forward.  The core bargaining team will send a notice to members early next week regarding budget issues and bargaining.
7. Motion: To recognize outgoing President Marlene Kim’s service to FSU. Motion seconded. Motion approved unanimously.
