Join the FSU for an Archives Open House!

The Faculty Staff Union and Healey Library invite you to join us for an Archives Open House on Tuesday, October 14 from 2:00-3:30pm. The event will be held in the Archives Research Room on the fifth floor of Healey Library, and light refreshments will be served in the adjoining Grossmann Gallery. Come chat with Healey Library’s archivists and explore a selection of materials representing the many wonderful primary source collections that our library holds, such as original materials documenting the history of activism, labor, the arts, desegregation and civil rights, transportation, and much more.

Highlights will include: 

• Akwesasne Notes newspaper
• Anne Tobin papers
• Boston School Bus Drivers’ Union, USW Local 8751 records
• Cid Corman collection of poetry, translations, and edited works
• Faculty Staff Union records
• Francois Sully photographs from the Vietnam War
• Judge W. Arthur Garrity Jr.’s chambers papers on the Boston schools desegregation case

• Photographs and founding documents of UMass Boston 
• A selection from our rare books collection, including a rare 1969 edition of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with original prints by Salvador Dalí
