FSU is negotiating our next contract – register now!

Dear Colleagues,

We are negotiating our next contract with the Administration this Thursday, Sep 19 from 12:30 to 2:00 in Campus Center 3545. Please register to attend by Wednesday at 10am: (contact FSU or Steve Striffler for registration information). We need your support!

At the session, we will present proposals that are important to all members – about promotional raises, longevity raises, retention raises, stipends for program directors, increased salary floors, anti-racism initiatives, travel funds, salary anomalies, reimbursement for the cost of green cards and visas for international faculty, and more! We also expect to hear proposals from the Administration.

We need your presence to achieve these important goals. If you can only come for part of the session, that’s totally fine, sign up anyway! Also – we have FSU t-shirts! Email us if you want one, wear it on Thursday to show your support (for more on how members can participate in the bargaining process, see this primer on expanded bargaining).

After the session ends at 2pm Thursday, we will hold a 30 minute Zoom for our members who could not attend and want to learn about what happened: (contact FSU or Steve Striffler for Zoom information).
