FSU Executive Committee Special Election

Dear Tenured FSU Member,
We write to inform you that a tenured member of the Executive Committee has resigned.
The FSU will be holding a special election to fill the vacant seat for a Tenured representative on the executive committee. The term of office is October 2, 2020 to May 2022.
Nominations open on September 8th with voting taking place September 25h to October 2nd.
Please consider running. The executive committee meets for two hours each month to vote on the FSU budget, FSU policy matters, etc., and is looking for someone who can actively participate in its activities. Fall 2020 meetings are 4:00- 5:30PM on Fridays. Please contact the FSU Elections Committee or an executive committee member if you need further information (for more information on the FSU Executive Committee see here).

New hires (TTs and promoted to TT) effective September 1st. Labor Day is Monday, September 7th.
Classes start Tuesday, September 8th.
Fall Executive Committee meetings are September 11th and 25th, October 16th and 30th, November 6th and 20th and December 4th and 18th.
