May 1, 2017- Ex Com E-Vote, Approval of Additional Members to Bargaining Team

FSU EX COM E-VOTE 5/1/17

The FSU Ex Com was asked to vote on the following. The FSU Executive Committee voted to approve of JoAnn Mulready-Shick and Pat Halon to serve as Clinical Nursing Faculty bargaining team members and to have Steve Levine  serve as a member of the main table bargaining team. The votes were 8 in favor; 0 opposed; 5 members did not vote.

Hi Everyone,

               Joann Mulready-Shick and Pat Halon have volunteered to bargain clinical nursing for the FSU (they did this as well in the previous round of bargaining which never was completed).  Lorenzo and I realized that they were never formally approved by the ex com, so if you can do so, that would be great. 

In addition, there’s a need for more help in bargaining, especially since everyone cannot attend every session.  Larry cannot attend this week and is exhausted and Askold’s schedule has always necessitated a part-time involvement.  For this reason, Larry talked to Steve Levine about filling in part time  for TT issues, and Steve has graciously volunteered to do this. 

The bargaining team has approved of this, and it would be good to get the ex com to approve of Steve Levine as an additional part time member as well as Joann and Pat as clinical bargaining members before Wednesday, when we begin clinical track bargaining.
