Arbitration Case for Ramon Borges-Mendez

JCC members met to discuss the case of Ramon Borges-Mendez and to vote on whether or not to allow the case to go to arbitration. The meeting opened with Ramon speaking for a few minutes about the merits of his case after which Ramon left and JCC members discussed the matter.

The JCC voted unanimously to accept the case for potential arbitration.

A motion was offered: The JCC shall instruct MTA to seek mediation prior to arbitration.

The JCC voted unanimously to adopt this motion.

A motion was offered: The JCC shall reconvene to endorse full arbitration should mediation fail.

The JCC voted unanimously to adopt this motion.
