FSU Executive Committee Meeting Minutes
November 21, 2025 3:00pm (Zoom)
Executive Committee Members Present: Caroline Coscia (President); Jason Rodriquez; Monique Fuguet; Meredith Laferte- Coutu; Brian White; Lynne Benson; Jorge Capetillo; Patricia Krueger- Henney; Rania Said; Keith Jones; Jorge Capetillo
Others Present: Katie D’Urso (MTA Field Rep)
- Approval of Minutes:
Motion made to approve minutes from the 10/22/25 and 11/4/25 Ex Com meetings. Motion seconded. Motion approved unanimously.
2.IT Acceptable Usage Policy: Discussion of the latest draft from the FC and the Academic Technology Committee. Several concerns raised will be forwarded to the Academic Technology Committee.
3. Anti racism grant committee: We got four individuals who replied to be on the committee: Sun Kim (Nursing) Miloslava Kozmova (psych), Brandon Miller (Comm), SuiSui Wang (WGS). We would like to have an odd number to make decisions easier. Lynne Benson volunteers to serve on the committee.
Motion to approve all five. Eight vote in favor, one oppose, one abstain.
4. Member Outreach: Katie updated the group on the work being done.
5. Spring 26 Ex Com Schedule: Spring 2026 schedule was discussed.
6. Temperature Issues in Classrooms: Various problems with classrooms and offices were discussed. Low temps, mold, and flooding.
7. FSU Website: Katie, Caroline, Jason, and Lorenzo will meet with MTA to change server and update website.
8. FSU Logo: Katie, Chose option 3 white background banner. Chose option three with blue background for t shirts and will wait on further discussion about vision before ordering t shirts
