E-vote on approving special election for a Librarian Executive Committee position. The Executive Committee vote began via email on 7/29/24. Motion approved on 7/31/24 (6 in favor).

Librarian Representative to Executive Committee- Vote needed

In our March election, the librarians elected a new representative. Unfortunately, the representative left UMB for another position.  Earlier today, I emailed the Librarians recommending a special election to take place prior to the new academic year.  We need to hold a special election; the timing is not yet known.

Officially we need to vote to hold a special election. 

Motion:  I move that the FSU Executive Committee direct the elections committee to hold a special election to fill the librarian seat and that the election be held as soon as possible.
