Dear FSU member,
We want to remind you that the FSU Annual Meeting will be on Tuesday, April 23rd from 3PM to 5:00PM. The meeting will be held virtually:

The Annual Meeting is held for the purpose of hearing committee reports, to be updated on FSU activities, to adopt an annual budget inclusive of establishing dues rates, to adopt bylaws, and to hear other business as needed (source: FSU policies). Organizations such as unions are required to hold an annual meeting.

Introductions: Executive Committee, FSU staff and MTA representative
Past year activities: Including such items as the one-year agreement including 8% raises, Cherish Act testimony, FSU coalitions and CLR/stipend lists.
Current activities: including the change in medical leave processing, bargaining for our 2024-2027 collective bargaining agreement, parking bargaining with administration.
Adopt FSU 2024-2025 budget (includes the JCC budget)
Future plans/member input
FSU Budget Adoption
The FSU Executive Committee voted to recommend this budget to the annual meeting for membership adoption (contact the FSU office for a copy of the proposed FSU FY25 budget is attached and a budget note document which highlights some line items).
Course Releases and Stipends
According to FSU policy (check under Financials), FSU members are to be informed of all course releases, Admin paid stipends, and FSU paid stipends granted to FSU officers and/or members. contact the FSU office for a copy of the document).
