  1. Approval of the agenda: Motion made to approve the agenda.  Motion seconded, motion approved.  Motion made to modify agenda to 10 minutes for Ex Com meeting discussion instead of 25). Motion to modify the agenda seconded. Motion passes.  Motion made to approve amended agenda made, seconded, and passed. 
  2. Approval of the minutes: Motion made to approve the minutes for 12/7/17, 1/18/18, 1/25/18, 1/30/18 (CONTACT FSU OFFICE FOR COPIES---LN). Motion seconded. Motion passes.


    3. Valentine’s Day communication/action: Agreed to send to members via email. No other actions will be taken. Agreed to do tabling for union recommitment cards on Valentine’s      day. Askold volunteers. Marlene will get latest version of MTA commitment cards. Joe will organize sign up sheet. 


     4. Janus Day Monday, Feb 26: Discussion of possible actions. Agreed to participate in event linking arms near cafeteria at lunch time. Marlene will pick up stickers for event.

     5. GIC update and actions: Major changes to GIC plans are expected in a year. Email the Commissioners. 

     6. Department constitution reviews: John Hess, Jason R, and Monique volunteer to work on this.

     7. FSU Ex Com Meetings: Motion made to have May Ex Com meeting. Motion seconded. Motion passes. Doodle poll will be sent to schedule the day/time.

     8. Weekly calls: Motion to keep doing weekly phone meetings if needed only and to confirm the day before; if Ex Com members want to hold a call they should contact FSU           President and FSU Membership Coordinator by Monday 4PM. Motion seconded. Motion passes.

     9. Bargaining update: Ex Com goes into executive session.


    10. Legislative update: Update on Fair Share, minimum wage to $15/hour, parental leave.
