Dear FSU Members,

Teach-In: Just a reminder about the Teach-In on the Dorchester Bay City Development (aka Bayside) on Thursday April 15th from 3-4:30.   Register via Zoom here.    The event is co-sponsored by the FSU, Undergraduate Student Government, Graduate Employee Organization, Classified Staff Union, Professional Staff Union, College Republicans, and College Democrats, as well the Vice President of PHENOM, Izabel Depina.

Petition – sign here.  It’s easy!  The petition asks that the Dorchester Bay City development serve the people of Boston.

Resources:  UMB faculty Ken Reardon and Jack Wiggin, along with members of Dot Not 4 Sale, will be talking about the proposed development at the Teach-In.  If you want to learn more about UMass Boston’s history with Columbia Point please check out this great piece by Tim Sieber.   And for a critical take on the proposed development feel free to check out this opinion piece by yours truly.
