FSU Communication on COVID 19

Dear Colleagues,

The FSU Executive Committee writes to inform you that at our meeting today, Tuesday, March 10^th, we discussed at great length the Interim Provost’s memorandum, about UMass Boston’s plans to respond to the Covid-19 virus, which includes preparing for restricted access to the physical campus to safeguard our community’s health.

Members of the Executive Committee and our Core Bargaining Team are meeting with the Interim Provost tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, March 11^th to discuss the in’s and out’s of ‘‘…moving (its) instructional operations to remote rather than on-campus modality.’

We will send additional information after the meeting.
