Parking
Meeting attendees were asked to give their ideas about parking negotiations. Suggestions included sliding fee based on income, charging for the shuttle bus, having tiered parking (i.e. lots farther from campus would cost less). Concerns were expressed about employees who have child care considerations and other constraints that would put them at a disadvantage.

Summary of 12-14 Contract
There was discussion of the new contract and the various committees that will be/have been formed.

FSU FY13 Budget
A motion was made to approve the FY13 budget. The motion was seconded. The motion to approve the FY13 FSU budget was approved by unanimous vote.

Mass Care/Co-Insurance Issue
Marie and Benjamin discussed the issue of UMass student health insurance plans being changed from co-pay status to co-insurance status. The latter makes the policy holder pay for a percentage (15%) of total cost of medical event rather than a set deductible/co-pay. There was a discussion of what the students and the unions can do to combat this change in policy.
