FSU Anti-Racism Funds – Call for Proposals

Dear FSU Members,

As part of the contract negotiated by the FSU and UMB administration, the university agreed to establish a “$25,000 pool of funding in each year [of the contract that] shall be allocated to and distributed by the Provost’s office in consultation with the FSU to support anti-racism activities for faculty and librarians.”

The Faculty Council (FC) and the Faculty Staff Union (FSU) would like to invite you to attend an all-faculty Forum (librarian members of FSU welcome) to discuss the Chancellor and Provost’s Feb. 10th Joint Statement and the ensuing aftermath for us and our campus. This forum will be an opportunity to discuss your questions and concerns about this series of events on our campus as well as to allow us to learn what action(s) we want to pursue as faculty/librarians in the wake of these events.
