Put pressure on the legislature to pass the Cherish Act by showing up this Thursday for Red for Ed Thursdays:

When? This Thursday June 20th 3-5 pm

Where?  At the side entrance to the Statehouse on Bowdoin Street. If you come later, look for us inside the Statehouse by the offices of Senate President Spilka (room 332) and Speaker of the House DeLeo (room 356).

Dear Colleagues:

Last year, our unions participated in a ballot initiative campaign to win paid sick leave and family leave for all workers in Massachusetts.  Voters overwhelmingly approved the initiative and workers across the commonwealth won an excellent new benefit.  You can read more about the new law here: https://www.mass.gov/orgs/department-of-family-and-medical-leave

Summer Parking Passes

Dear Colleague,

As the semester is coming to a rapid end so does your Spring parking semester pass, which is valid from  January 15th to May 31st.

For those teaching Summer Session I and only if you purchased a Spring 2019 semester pass, you can purchase a Summer Session I pass for $70.00.  If you are teaching Summer Session 2 and will be purchasing a Fall 2019 semester pass, then you may purchase your Summer Session 2 pass for $70.

The Parking Agreement language is as follows:

Raise $43 million for UMB per year this Thursday at 5 pm
