Dear FSU Member,

Are you an NTT who is submitting promotion materials from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to Senior Lecturer II?   Or are you an NTT who wants to know what is involved in filing for promotion?  

If so, we are holding an informational workshop on Tuesday, November 30 11AM to 12PM via Zoom (it will be recorded) to explain the promotion process but more importantly, what needs to be submitted to your chair.   

Bargaining Update: Raises, Merit, and NTT Equity

Dear FSU Members,

Here is a quick update from our two (!!) bargaining sessions last week.

SALARY

As you know, the parameters for raises are set by the governor.  This year, those parameters are across-the-board raises of 2.5%-2%-2% over the three-year contract, plus a one-time 1.5% bonus (i.e. money that does not go on salary) in the first year.

Internship Summary: We're seeking 1-2 students to collaborate with the FSU on building our social media presence and communication capabilities.  This internship will provide you with workplace experience related to developing the social media presence of an organization – in this case the Faculty Staff Union of UMass Boston.
