Contact your legislators NOW on the Fair Share Amendment

Dear Colleague,

Please go here right away to let your legislators know you support the Fair Share Amendment, a proposed Massachusetts constitutional amendment that would increase taxes on annual income over $1 million to raise funds for public education (including higher education) and transportation. This amendment is being considered at a joint House and Senate state constitutional convention TOMORROW.

If passed, this amendment would raise more than $1.5 billion a year for public schools and public higher education as well as for roads, bridges and public transportation.

The Fair Share Amendment would not raise taxes on anyone whose annual income is less than $1 million. For those who make more, it would simply add a 4 percent tax rate to the portion of annual income over $1 million.

Send your message right away.

Thank you.
